Available Instruments
From time to time I have instruments available for sale directly from Fleishman Instruments. Sometimes a customer trades in a guitar or asks me to sell an instrument for them. Occasionally I build an experimental guitar to test ideas, or I build something just for fun. These instruments are available immediately, usually at a reduced cost and no waiting time compared to ordering a new instrument.  I also sell prototypes of instruments I have designed for other companies, including Fender and Jackson.  The warrantee varies depending on the instrument, but all new instruments are warranteed for life with regard to design and work quality. Please contact me if you would like more information about any of the instruments displayed for sale.  These are good deals.
3B Seven-String, Used, $8750 w/tweed case
3B, named for its high b, Low B, and bumblebee, has been my personal guitar and shop show guitar since 1998. I built it because the seven-string I had hoped to keep was purchased by an avid guitarist from Bangkok, Thailand before I had a chance to really enjoy it. It is in near-new, slightly shop worn condition, with no damage, great setup, and amazing tone. The depth of this guitar must be heard to be appreciated. The multi-scale fretboard is transparent to the hands; you simply won't notice it as you play. The inlay is abalone and Tahitian pearl. Ordered today this instrument would cost approximately $12,500, and a 2 year wait. I am selling it now for $8750. No waiting!

I generally try to avoid too much tooting of my own horn.  However, in this case I must brag; this is simply the best sounding, playing guitar I've ever built, perhaps ever played.  I am not playing it enough to justify keeping it out of someone else's more capable hands.

The seventh string can be tuned to either a lower or higher string.  I have been playing it as a low B, below the normal E.  Capoed partially at the second fret, with the sixth and seventh strings open it offers wonderful open and standard tunings, with an amazing resonance and depth of harmonic content.

Greenie and 3B
3B rosette and peghead

Sorry, Greenie is not available at this time. I'm having too much fun playing it!   And 3B is sold, to its proud new owner Jim Holm-Kennedy.
This bass was originally built in 1978, then modified from a headed five-string to a headless six-string in 1996.  As the original designer and builder, and having done all the modifications myself, you might say this is an all original, customized, modded Fleishman Bass.
The feel is very good, light action, even response.  The tone is big, fat, phat, and juicy, with solid fundamentals and clear harmonic content.
Everything is handmade, including the tuners, which are solid brass, with an engraved overarching plate.
The pickup cover is handcarved ebony, as is the fingerboard.
This is a completely unique bass, in good condition, vintage you might say.
I am selling this for the original owner.  PLease contact me with any questions or to arrange puchasing.
If you are looking for a six-string bass with great tone, this is your baby.
